DS (Deadstock) Nike Dunk Montreal

Every so often Nike invests more time and energy into certain sneaker releases by partnering with various retailers around the globe on a rollout.Nike worked with Montreal-based retailer Off the Hook to highlight the delectable Nike Dunk Low “Montreal Bagel.”

Using the classic Dunk as its canvas, the Swoosh channels the morning feeling of picking up a dozen of the Canadian city’s signature sesame bagels. Toasty overlays are styled with all-over sesame-inspired patterns while the “Royal Blue” accents touch up the Swooshes to call out the flag of Quebec. The insoles have been devised with wood print to symbolize wood-burning ovens while the laces and tongue labels are styled in white to represent a bagel’s best friend: cream cheese. In addition, the translucent gum outsole salutes the honeywater dip that elevates Montreal-style bagels with a distinct hint of sweetness.
